Prof. Dr. Norbert Winkeljohann is a member of the supervisory boards of several major German companies. Among other things, he has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bayer AG since 2020 and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG since 2018. Previously, Prof Winkeljohann was Speaker of the Management Board of PwC Germany for eight years and a member of PwC's International Executive Committee.
Due to his many years of experience as an auditor and supervisory board member in various management positions, Prof. Winkeljohann specialises in the areas of auditing, international accounting and corporate governance.
Teaching Programme at the department
Prof Winkeljohann is offering a master's seminar on the topic of ‘Current Issues in Corporate Governance and Auditing’. The seminar will focus on regulatory issues and their impact on reporting and auditing.
